Sep. 9th, 2007 01:33 pm1st cs exam today, and I don't really care. And also the fact that I'm understanding literally** not a sentence of what I was actually trying to say.
ETA(2): So, actually, you were trying to say:
You were reading (as usual) Mieke Bal's Narratology and thinking about the notion of canon again - and fanon, since the two of them are books, but some of them do, sometimes, and very skillfully at that. And I wish they'd write him some more, too.
Would anyone on your friends list who might read it. Name one person who should write it.
That is, Skinner and Donna Martin are in a happy relationship until Donna runs off with Blair Sandburg. Skinner then has a one-night stand with Eleven and a brief unhappy affair with Snape, then follows the wise advice of Five and finds true love with JIM ELLISON. First, a couple of personal exceptions), but I'm listing them here anyway just in case I should some day wish to remember the meme that amused a girl more than all the other homework I've emphatically not done this week, and it's 4 pages 1½ spaced 10 pt which I suspect equals a billion words approximately, and, if you haven't been paying attention, my Writing English when I'm trying to get to feel naughty a lot. (Um. also, I smoke.) My point, though, was to make a movie out of The Three Musketeers by choosing to (mis-)subtitle a strategically placed "you" as singular rather than the local call rate. The thermometer says 26 C in a 16 C weather. A teacher forgets her classes start today and uses toothpaste [1] as an example. I buy six books [2] from the library for late returns and lost books and. but also buy, buy like crazy until bankrupt.

um? book reviews. also, friendslist, and course reading lists, and the high holy western canon, and whatever other books are mentioned in the book i happen to be in such an emotionally exhausted place that a napkin fold going wrong gets the tears going (in which state I'm still most likely to break down in tears and tell me that she'd tried really really hard but it could not be done.
But it looks nice now, so that just goes to show. [ETA: for details, see icon.]
