Because I was feeling a bit gloomy and unloved this morning, I whipped up the skeleton of a research plan on the contemporary reception of Hungarian literature in Finland and went and presented it as a potential seminar paper topic, and, my god, how they purred. Then they asked a third teacher over, just to purr. Then they all offered to do practically everything for me, short of actually typing out the paper and licking me from head to toe on the very spot.
I care about reception study this much. But I am the Academic Slut and will study anything for a moment's cheap pleasure...

And I have a bunch of betareading to do now: the only thing keeping me from succumbing to the way of vice entirely, really.
