What's the official (nice & polite, I mean, hum-ho) waiting period on HBP-spoilery icons, anyhoo? A couple of months? Something?

(Or should one just bide randomly until everyone else on the livejournal has an [I, THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE] icon (except much cleverer, of course, because you're not me, and thus cleverer, but, in some cases, perhaps also not in love with that specific phrase quite the way I am), before taking steps towards finding one for oneself? Because you know I will never be happy before I have one. Never ever.)

I'm surprised they haven't begun popping up all over the place already. Fandom's usually pretty quick, and I doubt that there are any LJ people still unspoiled, what with the shipping kerfuffles and so on and so forth. So my vote is go fo it, because I want to see, now, dammit!

eh, I'm sure there won't be much to see, esp. if I end up making it myself (i.e. knowing my minimalist tendencies in icon-making, will most likely be generic Snape icon with KEYWORDS). so no holding of breath or anything. although I think I will wait a wee bit longer. just to be sure. because I would hate to be the first to breach some sekrit etiquette and BE YELLED AT IN ALL CAPS. (not that people would. but.)

(also, i suck for still not having decided on sept, but i will (WILL) decide by next weekish. also still have a mattress that can bring if it comes to that. also am way off topic by now.)
