I browsed through the ridiculously cheap videos pile in the store on my way to class today, and found Try Seventeen, starring Elijah Wood, Franka Potente, and Mandy Moore. Called, incidentally, "Hot Youth" in Finnish. The plot summary on the back of the cover tells me the movie is about 17-year-old Jones Dillon who goes to college to "take his first step towards adulthood" and ends up having to rent a room in a nearby house "full of crazy neighbours", including the gay artist Brad, the mysterious photographer Jane and aspiring actress Lisa - all of whom take an interest in "helpless" Jones, "especially once they find out he's still a virgin". The tagline on the front of the cover: "Just 17 and totally inexperienced..."
If there's any relevant way in which this movie isn't about to be full-on porn, I don't think I want to know.
