I got my hair cut this morning. And it's funny how, regardless of who is doing my hair and what happens to be in fashion, they always, always end up blow-drying my hair into that full-on retro flipped-up-ends do. Maybe because the hair will not lay down nice and straight nor be flipped in, but I'd like to think there's more to it. Something.
The hairdresser (cute girl, probably had bronchitis) said: May I use some styling products?
I said: You may.
Then she did. Then she did some more. And some more. And some more. And it went on until I was quite sure she was about to break down in tears and tell me that she'd tried really really hard but it could not be done.
But it looks nice now, so that just goes to show. [ETA: for details, see icon.]
