iceinyourmusicLast night, I sat on my bed and munched on a piece of dry rye bread and took a "Who's your *nsync soulmate?" quiz. Seriously, why is this stuff still out there and functional? Anyway, the result was Justin. Then I took another quiz and found out that my BSB soulmate is Kevin. Then I finished reading the Sentinel slash I'd started reading earlier, and went to sleep. I've decided to stop doing real things after midnight.

my journal title of the moment is "take me to france". my journal subtitle of the moment is "or maybe to spain". my friendspage title of the moment is "and get me pretty loaded on gin". the relevant passages in the refrain to ryan adams' sylvia plath go like this: "and mabe she'd take me to france / or maybe to spain, and she'd ask me to dance" and "then she'd get me pretty loaded on gin". i like the song. i also like sylvia plath on a deeply disturbingly personal level. i also like it when the journal title and the friendspage title and all that, when they match. most of my days are spent wishing that someone would whisk me away to france or spain or anywhere but here, and get me pretty loaded on gin or any available liquor, really. sometimes reading my friendspage does help me get drunk; writing my own entries rarely takes me anywhere. also i felt like it was time for a change, a while ago, and had been listening to the song earlier that day, and that, really, is all there is to that. end of story. for now.
my username is still "leksa" and it still bores me to death but whatever. i wasn't in the mood to think of something clever when i signed up, all these years ago. and no, it doesn't mean anything, but it's the only one of my nicknames that kind of sounds like the nickname of a burly trucker guy drinking beer at the rest stop, so there's that. what it says in my name field is "the girl with the cow-eyes" which contains such a multitude of meanings you don't even want to know, but one of them is definitely that girl who had to eat cow eyes on fear factor, so that's what i mean about you not wanting to know. my default icon of the moment is a picture from sex and the city, which![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mazily made and i took just because it was pretty. i didn't know it was s&tc related, but now i do. it's my default because i just deleted my old default and also it's nice, relaxed, and neutral-ish, and i can't think of anything else right now.

As for christmas wishes, I'd like to refer to a post I made almost exactly two years ago, in which I said,
My wish list for christmas and christmases to come: interesting new places, coffee, cigarettes, red wine, sparkly music, pretty girls and pretty boys, lit crit, conversation and some laughs. World peace. That is all.
and I haven't changed my mind yet. Although BtVS s3 DVDs would also be nice. I might buy them. If I have the money. I don't always have the money. But sometimes I do.
