Today was almost nearly the day I was going to get around to saying, just this once, something nearly serious about the American election and my unsurprised European reaction to it - not to go all Eva Marie Saint in Exodus on you, or was it Paul Newman? but I've never felt more European than around this issue - but then people linked to that Sorry Everybody thing, and now I'm back at just vaguely wanting to hug all the Americans who wished&tried for change and didn't get it, and that is it for that, then.
Tho, if anyone would prefer not to leave the Saint/Newman issue dangling, I'm open to switching from hug to an uncomfortable kiss on a hillside overlooking the valley of your choice.
