and to the good people of ohio
Oct. 31st, 2004 10:37 amoh how the livejournal dot com is being cranky again today. I'm bored and desperate for new icons but somehow have completely lost the will to make any ever again (like everything else).
so the ten best stories meme. I never get tired of people talking about their own writing, so everybody (who hasn't yet) should go do that one, right now.
Plus, rec-wise (I'm dead boring in that I keep reccing stories by the same people all the time. It's not that I don't read&love loads of other people's fic, it's - well, I have no idea what it is. It's something. It's something to do with the utterly un-systematic way I play the rec game.) - there's (new) the world outside that room by
mazily, which is, whoa, post-admin CJ/Toby, been a while, hasn't it? Anyway, a sweet little thing. And then there's (old) stop by
throughadoor, which is still a good read but mainly of interest to me because of that thing where I once went around reccing it as one of the quintessential must-read fucked-up bassez stories omg, only I couldn't remember the title or who wrote it, and so had to google phrases from it, because those I did remember. And hilarity ensued.
Hilarity ensuing, that's what sticks to my mind.
London, by the way, was marvelous, if a little hard on the feet. And we went to see Stuff Happens, and lived in a women-behind-the-bars movie, and what more can you ask for, really?
