All of yesterday, my head was in some sort of disorganized overdrive. Thinking furiously as a monkey! But going nowhere, just rabbiting at one trifle for a minute and then at another and another. Then I went to bed and thought about simplifying. Lay on my back, staring at the ceiling through my eyelids, thinking about slowly growing a spine. I may also need to re-acquaint myself with my mother tongue.

Slight breaks may be in order.

I skimmed through all of Sarah Waters' Fingersmith and read chunks here and there. Eh. Maybe I'll wait until I've done a bit more than that before trying to form an opinion. Plus, teasingly, they're showing Nip/Tuck here this autumn; I'm not watching because et cetera, et cetera.
