identity crises brewing

- I just want to go home again.
- I shouldn’t drink. I shouldn’t stay up late.
- This isn’t who I am.
- I don’t think I like this person.
- There is no home. There is no who I am.
- I need time to get organized.

2.
Which one is the real me? The clever one who surfaces for a half an hour every two months or the daft one I play on tv day after day? Does the question answer itself?

3.
Sometimes when I decide that, yes, I am, I think, I like, I dislike, I believe, I run into a group of people who also are, think, like, dislike, believe the same, and then I’m confused again, after two blinks of reassurance I realize that, surely, some of these people must be, think, like, dislike, believe because they are here, and like this, and present, instead of being here, and like this, and present because they are, think, like, dislike, believe – and it’s not impossible that this also applies to me, so it must necessarily apply to me. It doesn’t matter how long I’ve been considering the matter beforehand or how, because it doesn’t matter. So I don’t get to wear the t-shirt, I only get to wallow. So, for the record, I hate University and Fandom (among other things).

I have the EQ of a pickled outcast bunny, only without the feathers.

5.
- This isn’t who I am.
- I need time to get organized.
- I hate it when I get like this.
- I need to be all cramm-o-girl until Wednesday, so I shall.
- I need time to become an all new me.
- After Wednesday.
