Is tonight the Eurovision song contest night? Or was tonight? Tv-less me, I can't keep track. Also, we didn't make it to the finals. [Insert theatrical gasp of surprise.] (You've got to understand, though, that the most important thing K. and Teanna had to say to me all Monday? was "we're going to beat you so bad in the Eurovision song contest." And what can you say to something like that? I said, yes, yes, you certainly are, and so we all got to be right.)

Also, JC has a new video out? And, people have been to the movies? And, stop the world! I can't catch it if it keeps moving.

Aw, I rather like it, the trashy ridiculous stupidity and all. But then, I'm Finnish, so I'm genetically predisposed to take pleasure in anything that offers us an annual chance to painfully humiliate ourselves in front of the rest of the world. (Is true.)

On the collective national level, absolutely. Especially when there's sports or singing involved (but we take what we can get).
