(It prolly helps a lot that we didn't make it this far - the general hysteria is, well, it's there, I suppose, but once removed? and I'm nearly certain my personal ability to enjoy the whole thing is totally dependent on that distance. Compare and contrast my total disinterest in all sports where we stand a snowball's chance in hell, etc.)

I DO NOT OWN A TV LEEA I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I briefly considered driving down to my parents to watch the France v. Romania game today, but the Guardian's minute-by-minute makes me think I really haven't missed all that much. I doubt they'll survive the prelims, so I'll try to catch their other two games, but it's just not the same without Zidane, anyway. I did watch Germany v. Poland together with other people yesterday, which was nice enough. IN OTHER WORDS YAY FOOTIE BOO LACK OF TV.

I have no telly either! and was briefly in despair over it, but our sweet, sweet darling national public broadcasting is streaming it for us online. *hearts* BUT BOO AT YOUR LACK OF TV. :(((
