(no subject)

Crumpets, plums, poppets. As usual, I'm horribly behind schedule in studying for tomorrow morning's exam (I'm reading about the history of linguistics, and there are some stories, there, yes siree), and yet I wish all of you would post some more, and especially those of you who don't post nearly often enough as is, or write lengthy emails or stories or lists of interesting words from your favourite dictionary. That is thing number one. Thing number two is, there is an episode with a sloth in HMS Surprise (of the Aubrey/Maturin series) that I wish to discuss with you, but that would really work best if you could come here, because, I'm afraid, the chief pleasure of that discussion would arise directly from me, or you, or all of us, re-enacting the main events and doing all the voices (and maybe flailing). Thing number three is, we've been having some lovely weather [jinx], and there is no thing number four until I'm done with tomorrow. Ta!

ETA: So. Does anyone else think the new "anonymous" pic when you're commenting looks kind of totally like. You know. Darth Vader. Every single time?
