(so, night-blooming heartsease by julad, and it's snape and neville and how often do i ever talk about harry potter fic? not often. found through a rec by moireach some time ago, and tonight i was in a sort of a harry potter type mood, and damn, and what i'm trying to say, that is, is that if there is anyone left who hasn't read it already, it's a fine chunky bit of writing. so you should maybe check it out. if that's your thing.)

i should be sleeping, but oh. tomorrow (well, technically today) is what i've decided to consider to be the first official day of the fall term, so obviously i've got myself worked up to quite a state here. and i was totally going to do a post starting with the dramatic confession that i don't almost ever read het these days, but that plan was, like, totally ruined when i started listing the exceptions and realized that, no, i'm completely indiscriminate in my reading when it comes to het and boyslash and girlslash and gen and all that by now. i'd read stories about pairings of three duck-shaped bath-toys if more people would write them! and i'd be a shipper, too.
