fridays are for procrastination

My friendslist has gone crayzay. I had to skip 20! that never happens. and then it's raves and Sentinel recs all around. Also, mandysbitch has interesting thoughts about writerly development and such, to which I'd comment if I had anything to say, but I don't.

Fact, I'm madly excited about the popslash Secret Santa. Partly because my life is not very exciting in general, but mostly because, meep. It's such a happy, happy thing. Also, it will mark my readerly anniversary in the fandom, I have decided. Let us have cake!

I still fully expect some mighty god to come and smite. me. down. every time I have the nerve to post twice a day, but I'm so bored. I think I'd really like to write something. Fic, I mean. That's how bored I am.

Anyway, my OT HP OTP is still Draco/Percy, and I still can't remember reading any such fic. But there must be some out there, yes? (Granted, OotP messed a bit with the dynamic I had in mind when I was explaining the one true beauty of the pairing to the girls back in London (I think I was? there were grasshoppers involved), yes, but Dee and Pee are still the flip sides of the same dysfunctional coin so very obviously, and if that doesn't call for lots of bleak dysfunctional back-alley sex, then I've been missing the point of slash entirely...) No, I'm not going to go look, though, because looking at any more bad fic right now would surely make my eyeballs explode.

I'll just whine instead, mmkay?
